What we do at

Our mission is to cultivate personal growth, self-responsibility and community awareness through horticulture, education and community service.

At Growing Futures we provide bespoke and tailored programmes and resources for schools, learning providers, community groups, and care homes, either at the centre on our allotment in Hillfields, Bristol (opened Jan 2015) or at our client's locations. We offer well-constructed and well-planned outdoor learning activates within and across all curriculum areas, including the themes for development across learning such as enterprise in education, sustainable development education and global citizenship, as well as the more traditional core curriculum. We believe that these practical approaches to learning must not be seen as a 'bolt-on' or alternative form of provision but part of an integrated experience. Learning in the outdoors has been proven to make significant contributions to literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing, for people of all ages, as well as being great fun.

Growing Futures Programs are designed to incorporate the following principals:

Growing futures was graded as outstanding when visited by ESF inspectors during the summer course and was asked in November to deliver a workshop at an OFSTED Foundation Learning Training Event.
